Thalian Association Community Theatre will hold auditions for the musical, Company, January 3 and 4 at 7 pm. Auditions will be held at the Community Arts Center, 120 S. 2nd Street in downtown Wilmington. The production, directed by Chandler Davis runs February 4 through February 13 at Thalian Hall. Katie Deese will music direct, and Bradley Barefoot will choreograph.
Please prepare 30 seconds (16 bars) of a song to sing. Please bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

Casting ages 18 and up. All roles are available.
Callbacks will be January 5 at the Community Arts Center. Please be prepared to read from a provided script and sing from the show. Those wishing to audition must be vaccinated (or willing to provide a negative COVID test once a week). Actors of all ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition for our entire season!
Synopsis:
From musical theatre’s most renowned composer, Company is largely regarded as a trailblazer of the dark-comedy, modern-musical genre and the winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Lyrics and Best Book.
On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor, Robert, contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends – “those good and crazy people [his] married friends” – explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question his adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions.
