Community theatres involve more participants, present more performances of more productions & plays to more people than any other performing art in the country.

9 things that YOU make possible with Thalian Association Community Theatre:

  1. Five productions annually on the main stage at historic Thalian Hall with special youth ticket prices to make live theatre affordable for everyone
  2. Five youth theatre productions at the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center that are free for cast members – no fees!
  3. Special shows at different venues in the community
  4. The Orange Street ArtsFest, presented every Memorial Day weekend since 1995, one of the most popular downtown arts festivals
  5. Management of the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center for the City of Wilmington, offering rehearsal and classroom space at little to no charge for visual & performance arts
  6. Affordable and convenient theatre arts classes…our goal is not success on stage but success in life!
  7. Creative Arts Camp for ages 4- 17 at the Community Arts Center every summer
  8. Youth Theatre special school performances for D. C. Virgo Preparatory Academy, GLOW (Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington), Wilmington School of the Arts, Southeast NC Title 1 Elementary & Middle Schools or schools with a stated need
