Thalian Association Will Hold Auditions For Youth Theatre Fundraiser
It Takes Two: An Evening of Duets & Dance
Thalian Association Community Theatre will hold auditions for a special fundraiser to benefit the Youth Theatre program, It Takes Two: An Evening of Duets & Dance, April 17 at 7:00pm. The production, directed by Logan Hayes with choreography by Lilly Goddard, runs June 9 and 10 at the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center on 2nd Street.
Audition participants need to prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre style song to sing. Those wishing to audition may call 910-251-1788 to set up an audition time. If needed, callbacks will be on April 18 at the Community Arts Center. Video submissions must be received by midnight on April 16 and may be sent to lhayes@thalian.org.
Actors of all races and ethnicities are welcome! Twenty youth performers will be cast to perform a duet with an adult member of the theatre community.
Synopsis:
Join us for a night filled with great entertainment from some of your favorite youth theatre members and veteran theatre performers. Make your way down to the HBHUSO Community Arts Center for this fun-filled variety show packed with many Broadway hits. This show will leave everyone tapping their feet and singing their favorite showtunes.
